The Exit Devices Used by Schools

When you send your child to school, you want them to remain safe and carefree as they learn and grow.  To keep your kids safe is the job of the adults.  From security people to emergency plans down to the emergency exit devices, many people have spent countless hours making sure that your kid can be safe in almost every situation that can come up.  With all of the horrible things that can and have been happening to kids and young adults during school lately, these measures are being increased even further.  Guards are being added, as are metal detectors and security cameras.  New drills are being added including a lockdown drill where children are ushered into safe rooms to keep them from harm during certain emergencies.

To keep up with the safety standards, most schools use Von Duprin exit devices for their emergency exits.  Von Duprin is to the lock industry as Cadillac is the car industry.  They are the highest standard that for many years has been a benchmark that other companies must keep up with.
